Todays episode of our Smart Homes for Seniors series asks the question, “Exactly what is a smart home?” Google’s Oxford dictionary definition says a “smart home” and is defined as “a home equipped with lighting, heating, and electronic devices that can be controlled remotely by phone or computer.” Well that is a pretty simple explanation. is smart home for seniors. The majority of my experience with smart home technology is with Amazon’s Echo and Eero products. If you are using Google Home products, many of these explanations apply. You can’t really destroy anything, so go ahead and try it yourself.
